My Wedding Update – The Bridal Affair, Wedding Cakes and Stag Parties.
Today I am blogging from the Bridal Affair expo at the Ritz Carlton DIFC. It’s been great so far, and I’ve had many of my Bride Club ME and Expat Bride readers pop by and say hello 🙂
So, here’s my weekly update, as usual I’ve been busy and faced a yet another wedding dilemma. My cake supplier Little Miss Cupcakes unfortunately can no longer supply our wedding cake, due to an emergency back in her home town in Canada, the reasons were more than understandable, but still, I’m pretty gutted, as I love her work. Anyhow, I’ve contacted a few potentials to design and make our cake, so will update you all on my new vendor soon.
It’s been a packed week, and I shall be updating on the Bride Club ME front soon, we have been transferring our hosting for the website which has caused the site to slow down and we have had a few hitches, but hopefully this will all be rectified in a few days, anyone who runs quite an image and text heavy website will know what a pain in the ass it is the change hosting. It’s all for the greater good though and I shall be announcing why we have done this after my wedding in November.
Moving on, yesterday was my fiancés stag night, I’m slightly weary eyed thanks to him waking me up at 4.30am sounding like a baby elephant in a china shop! Lol. But I have to say, yesterday proved to me why I love my fiancé so much and why I am marrying him.
Throughout the night, he called to ask if I was OK and at 3am he called to tell me how much he loves me and how none of the other women in the bars/clubs he was at compared, ha-ha, how sweet….also, many of his ‘buddies’ left him throughout the night, which I though was a bit sad really, but Adam, being Adam was still cheery and happy, he is such a lovely man and I can’t wait to meet him at the aisle to say our vows.
So, that being said, I must get back to work at the expo, lots of lovely brides to-be need my help. I’ll be back in a few days with some key wedding updates and wish you all a great week ahead.
