Dear friends, bloggers and fellow Brides-to-be,

My name is Rhiannon. I myself, am an engaged expat bride-to-be, and will be marrying in February 2014. One of the reasons I decided to write this blog, was due to the lack of information and online resources for UAE based expat brides-to-be. Planning a wedding is great fun, but can also be extremely overwhelming, add to that, the fact that most of us are away from our loved ones and family back home, it helps to have a support network of other women going through the same emotions.

Since finding a gap in the market, I am also launching www.brideclubme.com later this year in partnership with CPI publishing. The website will act as a one-stop-shop on line information and inspiration website for expat brides-t0-be, who are based in the UAE and will also be of interest to international brides looking to honeymoon or marry in the UAE. My first blog entry will be a little history on me and ‘us’ and our Dubai Engagement party, then our first trip to meet with our wedding venue in Sri Lanka later this month.
