A surprise gift – “Something Blue”

Hello folks,

It’s Thursday, BLOG day 🙂

Today is a happy post day, lol, recently I got a really cute surprise in the mail sent direct to my work, I love it when I receive post that doesn’t consist of spam paper mail or bills….

A dear family friend and one of my mums closest friends from her teenage years sent me a little package consisting of “I Do” blue rhinestone shoe stickers. I’ve seen these before in various blogs and magazines, basically they are a cute accessory for your wedding day and could double as your “something blue” they are meant to be attached under your shoes on the arch and also look fantastic in professionals wedding photos.

My surprise in the post

This is my first surprise gift and it’s so thoughtful, really made my day. I’m pretty gutted though, because the lady who gifted me these was supposed to come to our wedding with my mum, but they have fallen out 🙁 Even so, she sent me the stickers and has wished us well.

I’m not sure if I will wear them for the legal ceremony or the November wedding yet, hmmm!?

I do hope my mum and her friend make up, a friendship lasting longer than most relationships these days, should be cherished. Oh well what to do!?

PS: I think if a supplier can bring these little gems over here, they will sell really well……food for thought guys!
