Wedding Furniture and Decor Suppliers confirmed – Dubai furniture rentals and decor
Hello lovelies,
I hope you are well. I’ve been busy confirming the last of my wedding suppliers and gearing up for wedding season with www.brideclubme.com, we have lots of media partnerships at wedding fairs and events over the next few months which should be fun!
Anyhow, today I am blogging about finally confirming my wedding furniture suppliers and my supplier for all the little tid bits needs to complete the décor.
Not all brides require furniture rentals for their weddings, as many venues here in the UAE supply tables, chairs, etc, however, Adam and I chose a space at the Desert Palm which is pretty much a blank canvas. We could have used the standard banquet chairs provided by the venue, however we chose to opt for a more unique style all together and therefore had to seek the services of a third party. We did not really account for these costs in our initial budgeting, so we have had to re-work a few things to make it happen.
TIP: When budgeting, don’t miss the logistical elements, ie: lighting, stage, dancfloor, furntire, décor (if needed)
Our furniture suppliers are CATERTAINMENT, I had spoken with and visited several furniture suppliers in Dubai before finally settling on CATERTAIMENT. The reason we chose to go with CATERTAINMENT was not due to their prices, but due to their passion, enthusiasm and ideas. It’s really important to me that my vendors show they care about my day and make efforts to listen to my needs and suggest ideas, I did not really get that with the other suppliers I spoke to and found they were a little swift and not very helpful, I also appreciated the fact that Farah from CATERTAINMENT suggested coming to our venue before I suggested it, to see the space.
They worked within my budget and listened, two very important factors, regardless of the fact that my wedding is a small one, they still acted as though it was important to them, unlike the previous supplier I wrote about last week.
In regards to the additional extras, we have chosen CELEBRATIONS event management. Celebrations have a gorgeous open workshop in The Beach Center, Jumeirah Beach Road, and are full of ideas, useful props and element to make your wedding gorgeous. My florists did not have things I needed, like hanging lanterns or glass bubbles, etc, so I knew I would have to source them elsewhere, instead of running around Dragon Mart trying to find things so close to the date of our wedding, I decided to just see if I could source them all from one supplier.
I met Ayah at the pretty CELEBRATIONS work shop and immediately warmed to her, she is a qualified architect, which believe it or not, really helps in her wedding/event design process, and she is the first event manager I have ever met who can construct 3D wood examples of stage and kosha designs. In Addition to planning events and weddings, celebrations also have a gift wrapping company and so they were also the perfect choice to help with my personalized English favors I was having trouble sourcing last week. There are a few more things CELEBRATIONS are helping me with, but these remain a secret for now. Again, Ayah, like Farah from Catertainment offered to visit our venue to ensure she knew the space and what was needed. I’m so excited to see the final outcome.
So there you go, two big things finally ticked off the list.
Now all I need to focus on is my BM’s getting their bl**dy shoes before they run out of stock, finishing all my DIY and completing table plan/time line. Our RSVP deadline is next week, so it’s close.
Arghhh I’m scared!!
I’ll be back next Thursday with the low down/update on my healthy lifestyle change and beauty regime in the lead up to our big day.
Ciao for now
Rio xx
