Q&A – A Bride to-be is looking for budget venue options, with style.
Hello fellow bloggers, fans and brides to-be.
When www.brideclubme.com launches later this year, we will have a Q&A section on our website for brides and grooms to-be, even extending to bridesmaid, maid of honour, and mother of the bride questions.
We will also post our questions out on our social media pages, as our brides may want to advise and help each other too. We have recently posted the following question on our face book fan page for a fan:
A Bride to-be asks: Q: “HELP Bride Club ME! I have been browsing your face book fan page, and I love that you cater to all brides with varying budgets, ethnicities and tastes. I am a Filipina bride to-be with limited budget, and I am having a hard time finding a budget hotel, with a function room, who can provide a sit down meal and perhaps an area to dance?
It’s important that the hotel/restaurant also looks good and has ambience and is comfortable and accessible for our guests. Whilst I have a strict budget, I don’t want to have my reception in a horrible venue with no class. Do you have any recommendations/suggestions?……………”
The answers below, came courtesy of some of our face book fans and one of our Bride Club ME experts ‘Clare Ebb’ a professional wedding planner and founder of ‘The Perfect Moment’ Dubai:
- Georgina Enzer-Hennawi The Jebel Ali Golf Resort has a big range of options to cater to a variety of budgets. If you tell them your budget they will make suggestions and are really helpful. We had a small budget and our wedding was just what we wanted and we did not spend a cent more then we could afford.
- Zainab Malubhai I agree with Georgina. I know two other people who have had their weddings at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and are very happy with their service and the affordability.
- Wedding Planner Dubai / The Perfect Moment My suggestion would be dubai marina yacht club. They have a beautiful function room overlooking the water and an outdoor space for a blessing if needed. It’s extremely affordable and has a very low min spend which is great if you are on a tight budget.
- Elizabeth Andrés Designs – Couture Invitations & Stationery {Dubai} If it’s an intimate occassion, there are many private villas with backyard gardens, if you know someone who knows someone! Also, Dubai Marina Yacht Club is a good option.
- Louma Bardawil Bevaart The Arabian Ranches Golf Club, indoor and outdoor venues, very low minimum spend. The Dubai Polo Equestrian Club, and Dubai Marine Beach Club (the hotel where you have shosho s), same advantages too. Good luck!
Brides to-be can access an A-Z listing of all wedding venues in the UAE suited to all budget ranges on our website www.brideclubme.com, when it launches in November 2012.
Ciao for now
Rio and Team ‘Bride Club ME’ xx
