Interview with a Bride to-be – Proposal Special.
Hello fans, fellow bloggers and brides to-be,
Today we post a mini interview with Dubai based expat Bride to-be Isabel Ferrão.
Isabel contacted us after we posted a few unique proposal options on the Bride Club ME fan page. She showed us some images of her fiancés wonderfully creative proposal and we just had to share with you all! ENJOY!
1. How long have you and your fiancé lived in the UAE?
A: My fiancé was raised in the UAE and I have been based in Dubai for the last 8 years.
2. How did you and your fiancé meet?
A: We met during Christmas back in 2009, while we were partying with friends and haven’t looked back since!
3. How did he/you propose?
A: It was amazing! My fiancé booked the shark infested Mayan Temple lagoon, at the Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas, exclusively for the proposal. I could not have dreamed of anything better than this! A truly cherished moment for us and it blew me out of the water. …no pun intended 😉
4. When and where are you getting married?
A: We are presently getting our paperwork done for our civil wedding out of the country (tentatively at the end of October or first week of November, should we get suitable dates from the Registrar). Our Church wedding dates have not been confirmed yet, but will be sometime in May 2013 in Dubai. Dates to be confirmed after our civil wedding. It’s all very much in the early stages.
5. Why did you choose to marry in Dubai?
A: We will be getting married in Dubai as it will be easier for us to liaise with everyone as we are both based here and we know the city well.
6. What is left to do in your wedding planning diary and are you using any wedding vendors based in the UAE?
A: We will be sourcing vendors sometime end November and none have been confirmed yet, so we are really looking forward to your ‘Mix N Mingle’ event and for the opportunity to meet a few suppliers who can assist us with our preparations.
7. What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?
A: Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband to-be!! <3
8. What scares you the most about your wedding day?
A: There is no time for being scared or worried; I am going to stay positive n hope for the best..!
9. What difficulties are you facing, trying to plan your wedding?
A: None as of yet, because we have not planned anything as of now. We are just browsing through and checking various options.
10. Lastly, are you looking forward to the launch of www.brideclubme.com ?
A: Can’t wait, the face book page alone has been a great help so far, I’m really excited to see the actual website going live:)
