Dubai Wedding Celebrant Booked!

Hello brides to-be and fans,

Sorry it’s been a while, usual story, busy, busy, busy and www.brideclubme.com is keeping me up all day and night, which is a good thing 🙂 – I have decided that I am going to update my blog weekly on Thursdays, so at least you know when to log back in and keep updated with my plans. I have a lot to keep me going for a while, so I may post a couple of blogs posts today it’s self.

Anyhow, my last post was regarding my quest for a wedding celebrant in Dubai. I emailed one particular celebrant who was coming up high on the Google rankings, but after three attempts and no email, I gave up. I really do not have the patience nor understanding with people in business who take more than three emails to respond to an enquiry over a span of a few weeks.

With my business, I respond ASAP even if it’s ” Thank you for your email. I’m extremely busy at the moment, but will certainly respond to your enquiry by xyz!”

Anyhow, after contacting my on the day wedding planner for suggestions, I got in touch with a wonderful Australian lady called Toni who is now based here in Dubai and is a trained professional celebrant. Adam and I met with her, asked questions and had a little chat about her experience and our wedding. We clicked, she was very warm and understanding of our requirements and so we confirmed and signed her up. Since then, Toni has sent us some really useful questionnaires to complete so she can personalize our vows and the ceremony script to suit us as a couple 🙂

Since my last post, quite a few brides have contacted me asking if I have found a good celebrant yet, so it must be a popular issue expat brides are facing here. It’s very important that you cover the following when you choose your celebrant.

• Does the celebrant make you comfortable?
• Does he or she seem genuinely interested in you as a couple?

Be sure you like and respect your celebrant — and that the feeling is mutual.
