My Wedding Scrap Book – Paper Chase, The Dubai Mall
Hello Expat Bride fans,
I hope you are all keeping well and that the wedding planning is coming along.
Today, I am posting about my wedding scrapbook project. Throughout my wedding planning, I kept a folder which include all my receipts, notes, and Pinterest images for inspiration and so on. I also kept a copy of our wedding invitation, save the date, wedding favors, table stationery name tags and more. Reason being, I am a bit of a hoarder, and I just love looking back on things and reminiscing when the fancy takes me. I have letters that I received years ago from my best friend in a box, special occasion cards, event passes, etc.
It’s taken me a while to find a scrapbook that I love, but I recently stumbled across a nice big scrap book from Paper Chase at the Dubai Mall. I really did not want a perfect satin covered book or a typical white one, with frilly edges, I wanted something fun and crafty, so when I came across my Paper Chase scrap book featuring a cute vintage ‘just married’ yellow beetle car, it was perfect and very ‘British’.
I brought lots of double sided tape and picture corner stickers and have now started to put together our scrap book. It’s going to take me a while, as I am waiting for some guest pictures too, but I am so happy I took the time to save all my tid bits and memorabilia from our wedding, so I can show our future kids, grandkids and reminisce myself when I feel the need.
If you are looking for a quirky scrapbook, my Kraft square scrapbook cost me around 100 AED from Paper Chase at the Dubai Mall. They have some other cute wedding bits and bobs there too if you are on a budget. I will post up some pictures when my scrap book is complete.
My next project is finding my wedding album supplier for our professional wedding images,,,If I don’t find what I am looking for, I may very well make my own. I will let you know how I get on with that.
Got to rush now, as I have lots of www.brideclubme.com features to write.
Ciao for now
wow, this is a good idea! i love making artsy stuff from old letters and photos. thanks for this! 🙂
Very Welcome Mimi – Welcome to my blog 🙂 x
