Nervous – Tommorrow is a special day

Hello lovelies.

I am keeping this one short n sweet. It’s our ‘legal’ wedding tomorrow. As many couples do in the region, we are having a legal ceremony and then a larger wedding blessing in November.

Tomorrow will be quiet, small, with just a few witnesses, however, it suddenly dawned on me today and I am feeling a tad emotional :S….I did not want to focus too much on this day, as November is when we will be doing all the traditional wedding hoo haa, however, tomorrow is still a very special day.

I’m nervous, I’m excited, I’m emotional and at the same time I am calm. Weird, I can’t explain it, lol.

We had to choose three songs, because we don’t want any cheesy organ music. My gosh, that was the hardest thing ever! All ‘our’ songs are not appropriate, so we really had to search through YouTube for a good few hours until we came to an agreement, he-he.

We mutually chose ‘Ribbon in the Sky, by Stevie wonder’, Adam chose ‘Better when we are together, by Jack Johnson’ and I chose ‘Is this love by Bob Marley’ – I popped by the church today and left them the CD.

Anyhow, I am not making a big deal about this on my personal Facebook page as its low key, but I may post a few pics on here for you   – I will post all my wedding event pictures after November the 22nd. I want to keep something just for us for now.

After our ceremony is over, Adam and I are shooting off to Abu Dhabi ‘St Regis/Saadiayt Island’ for the night and will simply relax. If I can give any other bride doing the same as me some advice, I’d say this is the perfect test run for your actual wedding blessing, where you will be with all your loved ones, wear the beautiful dress, say your own personal vows, etc – The ULTIMATE rehearsal ha-ha.

So, here I go, it’s now or never, I feel full of love. Will let you all know how it went on Sunday.
