I have fallen in love with a flower – My Dubai wedding flowers.
Hello fellow brides to-be and fans.
A while back, I wrote about my meeting with Dubai florists Vintage Bloom and explained that we would be visiting my wedding venue, so they can see the space and natural blooms already there.
Well, Hana, from Vintage bloom, took lots of photos and accompanied me on a little tour, so she could really get an idea of what was needed. I mentioned in my previous post that I was finding choosing my wedding flowers rather daunting as I am an eclectic person with varied tastes and I am not particularly well versed in what flower is what.
However, upon briefing Hana at vintage bloom, I think she started to get an idea of what I had in mind and helped me with some suggestions herself. I am not a fan of the typical rose, or uniformed look, I don’t like peonies much either, as I think they are over used, and then Hanna showed me the most beautiful little flower ever, the Rananculus. Oh I fell in love, it’s like a rose, but daintier and more ‘wild’ looking, still has that English country vibe I am going for, without being too, well ‘ROSEY’ lol. It has multiple layers of delicate, crepe paper–thin petals, looking like an origami master piece.
I have pretty much decided that Vintage Bloom will be my wedding florists/designers, they know my budget and have assured me that they can work within it, so hopefully I will sign on the dotted line soon.
Anyway, I won’t reveal my whole wedding flower design/concept, but I will provide a little compilation of what is now my favourite flower and will of course be included in my wedding florals here and there.
What is your favourite bloom ladies?
Ciao for now
Rio xx
