This One Is For The Wedding Professionals – Fake Facebook Likes
Hello lovelies.
This post is for my fabulous clients and readers who work in the wedding industry.
Working as the Editor In Chief & Founding Publisher of Bride Club ME, I, like many media professionals, bloggers and editors, have to keep check of my own marketing strategy and social media exposure. I also advise some of my clients on theirs.
Recently The Media Network contacted me to write an opinion piece for them. My topic of choice was ‘Quality over Quantity – Fake Facebook likes’. In the link below, I talk about my thoughts on SME’s and corporations purchasing fake ‘likes’ on Facebook and how this can be detrimental to their businesses. I do admit, that when I started out, I was ignorant and almost purchased some fake likes to kick start my page (it’s a pretty easy process), but I did my research and consulted with seasoned business owners who advised me against it. As I have grown my business and learnt along the way, I know understand how it all works.
I know many of my wedding clients personally and often monitor their pages to keep track of their promotions and latest happenings, and am happy to report that I don’t think any of them have succumbed to this detrimental marketing tactic…and thank goodness for that…if you are wondering what I am on about….click the link below to read more.

I’ll be back soon, with operation MOVING HOME…That’s right, Adam and I are moving tomorrow morning, we have spent the past week de-cluttering, organising, packing, wrapping ready to move into our new marital home. I’ll be posting some tips for newly wedded couples who are setting up home, and documenting my office make-over. I’m so excited, home decor is a big hobby of mine, and I’m looking forward to transforming a boring room into my little work sanctuary..yay!… xx
Ciao for now
